I've been doing a scrapbooking project for the folks' 40th wedding anniversary in September. This project has required my mom and dad to go through all their old photos so they can choose a few to be scrapbooked. While time-consuming, I think it's been fun taking a trip down memory lane. Dad emailed me a few pics that he scanned from old slides, which is how he saved the majority of his pictures over the years. As a result of scanning the slides, and aging, and a few passes by a very hot projector screen bulb, some of the pictures have warped and become fuzzy. I've tried to fix them a bit, with the limited knowledge I have of photo enhancement...and come up with these. It's kinda fun seeing what emerges through tinkering with color, cropping and sharpness...

This picture was taken in front of our little red house on the heights. This was when there were only one or two other houses on the hill. Now it's a subdivision.

My brother, Chris. How cute was he, man?! Dang cute!

Do you have PhotoShop? Or what are you using?
I used 'Picasa 2' through Google for these pics. I've also used 'Shutterfly Studio'. Both are fun...and free downloads. 'Picasa 2' can send photos right to your blog.
